Kanayamayaki is located in a place rich in nature surrounded by large apple orchards.
 There is a two-story gallery, a clay factory, a production site, and a kiln where pottery is baked, and everything is handmade.

 金山焼は広いリンゴ畑に囲まれた、たんだ良いどごさあるんず。
金山焼の施設は2階建てのみへや、粘土を作るどこ、作るどご、焼き物を焼くどごあって、ずっぱどやってらんず。

The kiln can be visited at any time, 365 days a year.
At Kanayama ware, we are particular about using a wood-fired kiln in consideration of the environment.
Kanayama-yaki has four types of five wood-fired kilns, which are fired about 60 times a year.

窯場は365日見学できます
 金山焼には4種類5基の窯があり、1年に60回ぐらい窯焚きしています。窯は1350度のたげぇ温度で焼いでらんだぁ。
 

特徴

Tsugaru Kanayama ware is made in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, using clay from the local Kanayama Pond as a raw material, and is slowly baked at a high temperature of 1350 degrees Celsius and hardened.

Because each one is handmade, the taste is different and you can feel the warmth. The more you use the baking vessel, the better the color will be, and the more moist it will feel, so I hope you will use it more and more.

青森県五所川原市で地元の金山大溜池の土を原料に、1350度の高温でじっくりと焼き上げて硬める「焼き締め」の手法で、1つ1つ個性の違う焼き物を製作しております。

1つ1つ手作りの為、味わいが異なりぬくもりを感じられます。焼締の器は使うほどに色合いが良くなり、手触りもしっとりとしてきますので、どんどん使ってほしいです。
